All In Gesture – Disgust and Joy

All In Gesture – Disgust and Joy

Last Saturday's All In Gesture class theme was the characters Disgust and Joy from Inside Out. Both express strong emotions, so it was fun to draw and exaggerate the model! I also had a few attempts at drawing the characters.

All In Gesture – Pregnant Mum

What a great session with model Veronica, nine months pregnant at the time! I enjoyed switching up my Photoshop brushes to try something a little different.

All In Gesture – Rapunzel

Rapunzel from Tangled is such a fun character. The addition of a frying pan prop was an excellent touch! I felt out of my depth with this one - I may need to redo the class sometime. But despite some wonky drawings I enjoyed taking part!

All In Gesture – Hobbit

All In Gesture – Hobbit

As I love The Lord of the Rings I had to draw this session, even though it's a little ways back in the All In Gesture archives! The hobbit is a little bit of Bilbo, Frodo, and Sam.

All In Gesture – Cruella

All In Gesture – Cruella

Another session from the archives! Some of my drawings lean more towards the Cruella of the animated movie, others more towards the model. Either way the poses were great fun. She's a wonderfully mad villain.

All In Gesture – Tinkerbell

All In Gesture – Tinkerbell

Drawing Tinkerbell was a good challenge! This All In Gesture class took place near the beginning of the summer, but I just now got around to drawing from it. The poses were excellent, and it was fun trying to capture the animated character rather than the model.
