At All The Young Nudes this week two musicians modelled. Though there were the usual long and short poses, they also played a few songs. This was great not only to listen to but to draw! It was difficult, but I'd like to do more drawing like it. The two drawings below...

Yesterday I went on a Timberbush Tour of the Scottish Highlands, seeing places like Glencoe and Loch Ness. I've been to Loch Ness before, and through Glencoe lots of times, but this is the first time I've done a tour of my own country - and certainly the first time...
I did these sketches last month but only got the chance to colour them today. Most of them are very quick gesture drawings, around 30 seconds. The portrait was drawn in about 5 minutes. I think the fish came out particularly well!

I've been doing some more figure drawing from artists.pixelovely.com and thought these two stood out. I like the way this model uses her hair and the cloth she's wearing.
