The Scottish Borders Life Drawing Club is back at the Haining after five years! It'll now be there every other week. Beca modelled some lovely poses. It was good to be back in the (much warmer!) Haining, and I'm looking forward to taking part more regularly again.

I recently became aware of EquiArty which runs Equine Life Drawing sessions in the Scottish Borders. Last weekend I went along and had a wonderful (and challenging) time sketching Bethany's beautiful Arab horses!

Lately I've taken my mouse sketches and created new character drawings of Morna Mouse. I'm still trying to work out how sketchy the final drawings should be. The looseness of the roughs is something I really like, but I find that adding colour can take away from them...
